De basismethode om het OAV-rolluchtlager te monteren, is om zowel de OD als de ID te laten passen. Als er meer dan één lager wordt gebruikt, kan er een afstandsstuk worden geplaatst om de algehele pasvorm te waarborgen. Een ander installatiemiddel is de injectiemethode. Gebruik een epoxy-injectiemondstuk dat in de epoxypoort van de behuizing is gestoken om te injecteren nadat het lager in de behuizing is geïnstalleerd voor een permanente en veilige installatie.
Het is cruciaal om verkeerde uitlijning van de lagers in de zittingen te voorkomen en dat de montagebelastingen nooit via de zijplaat van het lager worden uitgeoefend. Zoals hieronder getoond, moet de kracht worden uitgeoefend op het vlak van het lager zelf (de middelste component).

Typische configuraties en ontwerp
Rollenluchtlagers zijn met een lichte perspassing op hun plaats op de as aangebracht. Een behuizing kan worden gebruikt om het rolluchtlager vast te houden. Als een door de klant ontworpen behuizing wordt gebruikt, neem dan contact op met OAV voor de aanbeveling van de boringmaat.
Het rollager bestaat uit het wrijvingsloze lager en de spanringen in één deel. Daarom is de lengte van het lager de lengte van het lagersysteem. De Roller Air Bearings hebben dezelfde ontwerprichtlijnen als de Thrust Air Bushings.
Installing Into OAV Standard Housing Block
To mount the OAV Roller Air Bearing with its standard OAV housing, prepare the mounting surface by cleaning it free of debris and ensuring the surface is level and flat. Start by attaching the bottom piece housing, then carefully lower the bearing into the housing. Ensure proper alignment and fit. Add the top piece of the housing and press fit onto the roller air bearing to clip it to its bottom piece. Make sure the thread port of the roller air bearing is aligned with the top housing piece. Add the screws and create your final adjustments by securely fastening the housing.​ Be sure not to overtighten the screws, as it can affect alignment. Perform a functionality test and ensure proper alignments.
